Audience members are invited to a county fair onstage, complete with carnival games and an opportunity to meet the company of actors before they assume role. Once a live musician starts playing an original folk tune, the actors assume characters, telling the story using only physical elements found at the fair. With approximately 100 audience members seated onstage, the production asked audience members to be part of a participatory community welcoming an outsider (Babe)
